June 2008 is where I began my new life as a hairdresser at Nyumba salon in one of London’s most up market and extremely stylist post codes. As a Junior stylist here, the experience I gained laid the base for my future in the hair and beauty industry.
The clientele that the salon attracted were globally diverse and of varying social standing, exposing me to different hair types, cultures and demands. This has allowed me to transition from positions within a salon and from London to Auckland with ease.
Working with Michael Charalambous at Nyumba, he taught me skills I bring into my everyday practice, including building a client base with prestigious customers, including;

​Since moving to New Zealand I have met and worked with some truly amazing people. Stephen Marr has been one of the best learning experiences of my career so far in New Zealand. Being involved in the creative team, working on shows and shoots for many high-end New Zealand designers, including Kate Sylvester, has taught me so much about my skills.

I worked my way up to being a Salon Director at the Takapuna (Stephen Marr) Salon. Working hard I have learned how to become a productive leader within a great team of talented stylists.
​My passion for hair has truly grown a lot working with the teams at Stephen Marr.

The range of products we use and the people behind the brands have been such an inspiration for me to go further and work more creatively in my own salon environment.

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your online booking. The deposit you pay will go towards your total on the day. 

Any Cancellations made within 48 hours notice will incur a 50%  fee for that appointment booked, minimum $50, and your deposit will be lost. 

This includes, if you don't show up to your appointment. This fee will need to be paid before we can make any future appointments with you.

If you have received a new client voucher, this is for 50% off your first hair cut booking as a new client in the salon. You can use this with a colour service. Please bring your voucher to your appointment. 

The vouchers are to be used within 3 months from the date received.
